This service includes up to three initial sample designs. Once you’ve chosen the primary design, you may request tweaks to that design (within reason!) until it’s precisely how you want it.

Standard Book Layout Design – from $300
To be taken seriously as an author, you must show that you take your work seriously. Part of that means insuring that your book looks professional. That’s where our Standard Book Layout Design services can help. We will take your raw MS Word manuscript and transform it into a clean, professional looking book that you’ll be proud to have shelved next to authors published by major publishing houses. Our Standard Book Layout Design services includes an initial sample layout for your approval before creating the your actual book layout. Once you have approved the overall look for your book, we will add your text and any other content you would like included!

• Standard Text-only Layouts - $300 per 50 pages, includes up to 2 revisions
  (No enhanced text such as multi-level bulleted lists, images, charts, tables, forms, etc.)
  
• Enhanced Text-only Layouts - $400 per 50 pages, includes up to 2 revisions
  (Enhanced text includes multi-level bulleted lists, images, charts, tables, forms, etc.)
  
• Images -  $75 for every 10 images submitted
• Children's & Photograph / Illustration-driven Books (30 pages or less) - $225 per book

Manuscripts must be supplied as a MS Word file. Image requirements are as follows:

1. Images must have a resolution of 300dpi and be provided at or above the size required for the book. The preferable file format is a .tif, .png or .bmp (true bitmaps!). However, .jpeg and .eps files can also be accepted.
2. An image list, listing the image name as well as the manuscript page and content it’s to be used with, must be provided.
3. The gray scale image of your cover design and a single image that’s to be used throughout the book (ex: chapter title pages or a “special TIP” icon) or in one location in the book can be included at no additional cost.

IMAGE TIP: If you plan to use stock photography, popular royalty-free image resources are www.iStockPhoto.com, www.GettyImages.com, www.Photos.com and www.MorgueFile.com. (Use sites at your own risk!) For a professional look, make sure that the images you submit are similar! For example, use illustration or photography, use all close-up images or all medium / wide shot images, use all images with a full background or all images with no background, etc. The key is to create a consistent look. Keep in mind that “Royalty-free” doesn’t mean the images are free, but that you can use the images repeatedly without additional costs after you initially purchase or legally obtain the rights to use them.
